There are many quotes attributed to Albert Einstein but one which I think is apt today states that a “confusion of goals and perfection of means seems to characterise our age”.

Gordon Brown has constantly blamed our current economic woes on the global financial crisis. It sounds a lot like the traditional scottish child’s excuse…..a big boy did it and ran away.
Blogs are now the lingua franca of the media world. My own deals with the communications issues of the day that interest me. My broadcast career has lent me an abiding interest in politics, health & wellbeing as well as education and family matters. However, I will write on a wider range of issues as I believe that it all comes down to one thing – relationships. Whether they are micro or macro, relationships are the fundamental framework for the way that we live our lives and, for my purposes, inform the way that we communicate with each other.
